Love the line, shape and quickie look.
With a maniac in the White House hell-bent on nuclear destruction, there is no better time to plan my move. Shall it be a step from the 80s or a Chuck Berry duck walk? Either way, adequate footwear is a must for hot cinders, radioactive tap dancing or a cha cha cha.
Get me out of here! This is nuts.
For those not old enough, keystrokes meant an amount of letters or depression of a typewriter key/letter. It also meant the sound of the metal “key” striking the paper and resonating on the roller behind, with an echo within the machine. It is was a sound that filled 100s of movie scenes, real offices and well; anywhere that needed a formal document.
Again, I am trying to illuminate and justify the shapes and nuance. A typewriter wasn’t born out of thin air. It was a metamorphosis like any machine.
It is a fun and challenging set of shapes to illustrate.
This is my first illustration 5 days after surgery. It felt good to feel the texture of the paper and hear the scratch of a pen.
Being a first, I am thrilled to have a working hand with no pain and full control. However, it’s been 2 months since I last touched pen to paper.
I need to retrain myself.
In front of the counter, every restaurant gets an A health rating. It’s what’s in back that hides “the works”. I regularly sit at counters and always sit in a position to see the plates, glasses, etc. This cafe is spotless, really clean and organized. I am in awe of someone who probably has their house in order, when I can’t seem to get the garbage out.
