Table Dance

One has to get a little worked up ( once in a while. When nothing has been produced for weeks, the feelings, anxiety and regret build upon each other.

Thinking about it doesn’t count. Doing does.

I try to not allow things to get in the way. They are just another “term for excuse” and as an artist, cannot afford them.

They are too rich for me.

  1. Fabulous sketch! I like the way the orange settles down flat on the table, the tan color pushes in on it, and the pale blues and aqua sort of frame everything – it’s all waiting for the next magic thing to happen, eh?

  2. I like this very much. The palette and chairs!
It’s so uncomfortable when inspiration disappears, despite which I tell myself it will return. I had a break recently. I was looking at what little I was producing and just couldn’t decide if I liked any of it or not. I think that was a touch of depression – all decisions become difficult if not impossible. Glad to see a post from you, Barry.
