SUV

While waiting on my coffee and almond croissant, I quickly sketched an ugly SUV. All SUVs are ugly, but this KIA was particularly lame. It looked like the designers had pieced it together with chewing gum laced with acid.

What will we do until the SUV faze fades?

  1. The faze doesn’t show any sign of fading. I don’t think American drivers would know what a good looking car is anymore. And the size of these things is getting out of hand.

  2. Ha, ha..hope the designers do not see this blog, they will hang their heads in shame..or get them chopped off…sorry, not funny. Love you drawing of one, colours everything, the look on its face !! I suffer from them too, they try to wipe me off the narrow lanes when I am cycling peacefully along. I suffer from road rage when they give me 1cm room, it is truly bringing out the worst in me.
I do not know the answer to your question..but shall give it some thought, I do have ideas, but they are not suitable for a public forum!!! xx

    1. In my neighborhood, they have become a pestilance quite like 20 year locusts. If I dare come home too late, my entire street looks like a truck stop for fancy pants. I can’t see around them and really resent their profile.

  3. Barry I just posted a piece inspired by this artwork. Made sure all attribution and links are to your blog and this post. Hope it amuses you. 🙂
