Artist’s default

Earlier today, I promised to sketch a friend of mine’s daughter. She is strong, fit and lovely.

However, she is also not the person in this image.

When I can’t get a handle on features that make the person, I revert to little bits of me. After all, I know myself better than anyone.

It’s a common artist’s womandefault.
